Vietnam and Taiwan for 3 Weeks Rough Itinerary five stars NYC hotels luxury hoteles lujosos 5 estrellas cancun guanajuato five star hotels new york city hoteles en guanajuato cancun

A friend and I are going to Vietnam and Taiwan in mid-June/early-July (21 days). We’ve already bought tickets to Ho Chi Minh City for June 10 and out of Taipei on July 3. At the moment we’re trying to figure out a few things:

  • It’s up in the air when we’re going to fly from Vietnam to Taiwan and where from. How much time should we allocate for each country? Do we have time to make our way from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi without being too rushed?

  • It looks like it’ll be super hot while we’re there. Any recommendations of places to check out to cool off at? Da Lat looks to be a good city to escape the heat, would anyone here recommend it?

  • We know there isn’t anything like Angkor Wat in either country, but what’s are their any other interesting cool historic/religious site we could check out?

  • We’ll have family to stay with in parts of Taiwan but are wondering if it’s worth making our way to Taroko Gorge? Or if there are comparable natural sites to see closer to Taipei and Kaohsiung?

  • One of us is really into scuba diving. Are there any other good spots for it aside from Nha Trang?

  • To get around in Vietnam is there anything comparable to Collectivo’s in Peru? Or are your best options buses/trains?

Any thoughts would be great!
